Description: Riaan Manser is a full-time knife maker from South Africa. Manser works under the brand name 3LegDog -- named for his pit bull cross dog which lost its hind leg when still a puppy. Manser and his dog spent many days and nights sitting along side each other in the knifemaking studio. Regretfully, his beloved dog passed away during the summer of 2018.
This A7 Flipper features a blade hand ground from premium Zladinox stainless damascus. The dramatic Turkish Twist pattern damascus is high constrast and immediately captivating. It will hold a keen, long lasting edge. The blade features a flat grind.
The blade runs on caged ceramic bearings made by Rausch Engineering. It is perfectly centered, has silky-smooth action, and is easily opened single-handed using the ambidextrous flipper tab. It drops shut with no resistance.
Presenation grade Arizona desert ironwood handle scales are set on anodized titanium liners. The backspacer is carbon fiber. The handle is completed with an anodized titanium pocket clip mounted for right-side, tip-up carry.
Exceptional work throughout!
