Description: Anders has once more produced an exceptional cultural crossover piece. The upswept blade style is Persian in origin and is still found on many Middle Eastern knives. The blade has been double heat tempered using a traditional Japanese method that involves packing clay onto the spine of the blade and heat treating the edge. This creates a double temper line (also called the hamon) on the blade. The copper habuki serves to protect the blade from being scratched when drawn from the sheath. The handle is very Nordic in style. The textured sterling silver buttcap features a lanyard hole.
