Description: Herb Derr creates knives with an appearance that is captivating and immediately recognizable. The blade is a handsome twsisted Ws pattern damascus with a vine pattern fileworked spine. The steel has been deeply etched and heat colored for high contrast.
The downturned handle is formed from impala horn. It is nicely accented with a spacer formed from stabilized redwood burl. The rounded handle fits very comfortably in the hand. A nickel silver guard and butt cap bring weight back into the handle.
Accompanied by a pouch style leather sheath inlaid with tanned lizard skin.
Excellent fit and finish throughout.
