Description: Swedish knifemaker Greger Forselius has a flair for design. Though this Swedish utility knife will feel at home in most any collection, it is a high performance knife designed for hard use.
The 2.9" blade was hand ground by Sebastian Castells in Sweden. He chose high performing, low care Sandvik 14C28N stainless steel. 14C28N is high in Chromium for great corrosion resistance. In fact, 14C28 is an upgrade of 13C26 -- providing similar performance with increased corrosion resistance. The 2.9 inch blade is a perfect length for use out in the field or for carrry as a daily utility knife.
The handle is made from Arizona desert ironwood (Olneya tesota). This warm toned wood has a nice mix of medium and dark tones. It is expertly contoured and textured for a perfect grip.
To keep the knife close at hand, a traditional Swedish single seamed leather sheath is included.
Excellent work throughout!
