Description: Arno Bernard Sr. is a maker from South Africa and has been making knives for over 35 years. He has been a member of the Knifemakers Guild of Southern Africa (KGSA) for over 20 years. Living in South Africa has allowed him the luxury of using many different exotic handle materials -- some even collected himself.
This deep belly skinner is Bohler N690 stainless steel. N690 takes an incredibly sharp edge and holds onto it. Increased toughness gives it better resistance to edge chipping. The blade is hollow ground to a high performance edge.
This warthog tusk utility has a dramatic South African look and feel. The tusk has been polished to a luster and is pinned with five stainless steel pins.
A great piece for a collection or to use in the field. From caping and skinning, to cooking around the campsite, this knife has you covered as a perfect everyday carry!
Excellent work throughout!
