Description: Jason Clark is a part time, sole authorship knifemaker from O'Brien, Florida. Jason has been employed full time as a Florida Law Enforcement Officer since 1997 and knows what it takes to make a high functioning knife that is meant to be used. He even offers lifetime free sharpening for any knife he has made!
The drop point blade is made from gun blued Nebula damascus forged by renowned bladesmith Bertie Rietveld. The complex damascus pattern catches the eye and inspires the imagination. The blade is flat ground providing plenty of strength behind the edge. Because the blade is forged from carbon steels, we recommend camellia oil to avoid rust and oxidation.
The blade is perfectly centered with smooth action. It uses the IKBS (Ikoma Korth Bearing System) pivot. This mechanism, which was originally designed to fit balisong knives, uses ball bearings to create exceptional action with no blade play.
Scales are made from Blackwood carbon fiber. This intricate carbon fiber is cut from the side to show the weaves running along the scales. The scales are dovetailed to zirconium bolsters. Zirconium is a transitional metal that is primarily mined in South Africa and Australia. It is resistant to corrosion and scuffing. Stonewashed titanium liners surround a polished, heat colored zirconium backbar. The titanium pocket clip is mounted for right-handed, tip-up carry.
Excellent work throughout!
