Description: This exceptional three finger skinner was made by South African knifemaker Gavin Dickerson.
The blade is formed from N690 stainless steel, ensuring a keen, long lasting edge. N690 provides great strength and durability on a hard working knife. A hollow grind makes it easy to sharpen when needed.
The handle is formed from a composite made by Dickerson. He created the unique material by first making black acrylic dots and suspending these in white acrylic. The effect is exceptional. Handle scales are set on a distal tapered full tang, which provides a perfect sense of balance. The three finger handle is very comfortable and will make skinning and cutting tasks a breeze.
The knife is accompanied by a hand stitched pouch style cowhide sheath.
Excellent work throughout!
