Description: This upswept skinner by Raymond Richard has an ageless sense of grace that is rarely found in knives by other makers.
The blade is hand forged from carbon steel recovered from an antique saw blade. Ray is a true master at the forge, regularly teaching other bladesmiths better forging techniques. The blade is textured and antiqued.
The wrought iron for the guard, ferrule, and pommel were forged from an 1800s era anchor chain. A downturned piece of stag forms the handle -- resulting in a secure, comfortable grip.
Excellent fit and finish throughout!
