Description: South African knifemaker George Muller makes an exceptionally dramatic knife -- and at a price that would never be found from a US maker. The colors, textures and style all work perfectly together. The combination of titanium damascus, mammoth ivory and stainless damascus immediately captures the eye and inspires the imagination.
The hollow ground blade is formed from Grosse Rosen pattern stainless damascus forged by Damasteel in Sweden. This high performing stainless damascus steel is created using powder metallurgical steel manufacturing to provide excellent edge retention and unmatched beauty.
The blade has smooth action and is well centered -- easily opened with one hand using the ambidextrous flipper toggle. It uses the IKBS (Ikoma Korth Bearing System) pivot system. This mechanism, which was originally designed to fit balisong knives, uses ball bearings to create exceptional action with no blade play.
Lightning strike carbon fiber scales are set on anodized titanium liners. Copper strands travel through the woven carbon. Sections of mammoth ivory and titanium damascus are meticulously inlaid into the scales The titanium liners surround a fileworked titanium backbar. A titanium damascus pocket clip is mounted for right-handed, tip-up carry.
An excellent knife from George Muller that is sure to demand attention!
