Description: Jack Cory was a knifemaker out of Hamilton, MT. He was well known for making exquisite, one-of-a-kind folding knives. He was a quintessential outdoorsman and he and his wife Jackie spent much of their free days hiking and camping in the Bitterroot. He was an avid hunter. Unfortunately Jack passed away on Feb 27th, 2006. This knife has been in a single private collection since it was made. It has been meticulously cared for and is in new condition. By all appearances, it could have been made yesterday.
The blade is made from ATS-34 stainless steel and features a mirror finish. it can be easily opened using the nail nick and has very smooth action with a firm lockup.
Engraved nickel silver bolsters and stag scales are set on brass liners. Black fiber spacers assist the handle to adjust to temperature and humidity changes. The handle is completed with a leather lanyard and horn bead.
Nice work throughout!
