Description: This exceptional bowie was created by Journeyman Smith Andre Klen. Andre lives in San Paolo, Brazil and brings an amazing degree of craftsmanship to his work.
The 11-1/4 inch blade was forged to shape from Klen's own carbon steel damascus. The tightly twisted damascus shows tremendous control at the forge. An appleseed grind ensures a durable, keen cutting edge.
The handle is formed from stabilized makamong burl (Afzelia xylocarpa). The presentation grade, extremely rare wood has a convoluted grain pattern that nicely reflects the damascus pattern of the blade and guard. The contoured handle is extremely comfortable. This is a knife you won't want to put down.
The knife is accompanied by a hand stitched custom leather sheath.
Exceptional work throughout!
