Description: The M.U.D.D. (Multi-Utility Dirt Defiant) folder is an innovative Grant & Gavin Hawk design. A sealed locking mechanism and molded urethane seals around the pivot prevent failure due to dirt and debris. It is the only knife of its kind like this that will function properly even when exposed to harsh environments, making it the ideal tactical folder. The locking slide on the side of the handle is used to close the knife, making it a truly one-handed design. The MUDD is built by Millit Knives in Idaho to the exacting standards of Grant and Gavin Hawk.
The blade is formed from Carpenter's CTS-XHP stainless steel. This US made steel is a new air hardening, high carbon, high chromium, corrosion resistant alloy. It is hollow ground and has large, easy to use thumb studs. The swayback provides a perfect thumb rest for detail work.
The handle on this knife has carbon fiber scales set on Cerakote-finished titanium liners. The titanium pocket clip is a classic Hawk design and is very easy to use. You push on the back lever to overcome the spring tension and you can slide the knife into your pocket without issue. The Hawk clip is sturdy, good looking, and is one of the best-designed pocket clips available. It can easily be switched for right or left handed carry.
