Description: Art Washburn creates a very slick folder.
Mammoth ivory scales taper gracefully from the butt of the knife to dovetail beautifully into the damascus bolsters. This results in a sure grip with an elegant knife. The ancient ivory is nicely matched from side to side. Black fiber spacers assist the handle to adjust to temperature and humidity changes. The scales are set on hand fileworked, blue anodized titanium liners.
The stainless damascus blade, bolsters, and backbar were forged by Devin Thomas. The action is silky smooth and the blade perfectly centered. The 303 stainless steel thumb stud is inset with a synthetic sapphire. Gold plated screws are used throughout.
Excellent work throughout.
