Description: The Tyran is an ergonomic EDC knife with a nice safe grip, modern design, and the Classic Urban Tactical Compound Nightmare blade grind. A collector knife as well as a hard user. Mikkel Willumsen makes frame lock folders big and solid because that's the way he likes them. A large EDC folder has nearly all the same capabilities as a small one but the same cannot be said for the contrary. Mikkel's Urban Tactical style, motto, and trademarked name perfectly describe his intentions for each design. He uses the IKBS steelball bearing system for amazingly smooth and precise action. The handle is slim, ergonomic, and jimped to provide a high amount for grip for such a design.
This custom Tyran is a fantastic knife, was entirely made by the hands of the man himself, and features top quality materials and fittings throughout. The 3.7" CPM-154 stainless steel blade features multiple grind lines highlighted by a satin polish finish. Each grind is unique and per typical Mikkel Willumsen style, the blade angle compared to your hand is ideal for slicing with minimal effort.
The handle is solid titanium with milled finger areas for a comfortable, no-slip grip, with a differential (stonewashed and satin) finish and anodized titanium back spacer. The thumbstuds, pivot, handle, and pocket clip screws are all a matching satin finish. It's fast, tactical, beautiful and a great knife for any collection. Anodized pierced titanium pocket clip is mounted for tip-up carry.
