Description: South African knifemaker George Muller created another exceptional knife. Both the blade and the bolsters are heat blued mosaic damascus forged from carbon steels by Bertie Rietveld. Bertie is among the best known South African bladesmiths and has tremendous control over his damascus. The Dragon Skin pattern used for the blade and bolsters has been heat blued for a high contrast, dramatic appearance. The pattern is immediately captivating and is nicely complimented by the rich colors of the blued steel.
Ancient mammoth molar scales are stabilized and dyed. Damascus bolsters are dovetailed to the scales for a perfect fit. Red fiber spacers assist the handle to adjust to temperature and humidity changes. Gold toned anodized titanium liners keep the knife light and strong. Excellent work throughout!
