Description: Mastersmith Jerome Anders learned to make knives under the watchful eyes of his father, Mastersmith David Anders. Like his father, Jerome has a meticulous attention to detail and skill of implementation. He makes timeless knives that hearken back to an earlier time in American history.
This stag drop point hunter has a graceful shape to the blade that has made this one of the most popular shapes of knives. The blade was forged to shape from 1084 carbon steel and has a hand rubbed satin finish. A differential heat treatment is visible in the blade and results in a soft, supportive spine with a keen, long lasting edge. Stainless fittings surround the popcorn sambar stag handle. Sambar of this quality has become increasingly hard to find. The knife is accompanied by a pouch style leather sheath. Excellent work throughout!
