Description: When renowned knifemaker Jonny Walker Nilsson told me about a friend of his that is making exceptional Swedish knives, I immediately paid attention. I continue to be impressed both by Tobbe's sense of design and attention to detail. This Lundstrom knife has been in a private collection since it was made in the spring of 2011. It has been meticulously cared for and we were excited to be able to offer this knife again.
The blade was forged by Swedish bladesmith Kent Anderson. Kent is a neighbor of Lundstrom. The complex blade features accordion mosaic explosions set around a 20C carbon steel core. The blade is immediately captivating.
The handle is ancient walrus ivory recovered from an artifact ice axe. Cross cut sections from the same axe handle add interest and show off the dramatic interior of the ivory.
The knife is accompanied by a hand tooled leather traditional Swedish sheath. It has been inlaid with ancient walrus ivory and damascus.
Exceptional work throughout!
