Description: This engaging Everyday Carry Folder (EDC) has tremendous presence. The wide, clip point blade was forged from W2 carbon steel. Jody used a traditional Japanese method of heat treating where the spine is coated with clay to insulate the blade. The resulting blade has a soft, supportive spine, with a hard, long lasting edge. The differential heat treatment line is exceptional and immediately captivating.
Exhibition grade desert ironwood scales rest on anodized titanium liners. Both the backbar and bolsters are formed from damascus forged by Jody from carbon steels. The handle is shaped for a sure, comfortable hold. The damascus pocket clip makes it easy to keep this knife close at your side. Jody has made the clip so that it can be used for tip-up or tip-down carry. The copper thumb stud brings out warm tones in the exhibition grade desert ironwood scales. Smooth action and well centered blade. Exceptional work throughout.
