Description: Swedish knifemaker Greger Forselius has a sense of design that results in an exceptional knife. The stacked handle fits securely and comfortably in the hand. The front section of the handle is formed from carved fossil walrus ivory. Carved fossil mammoth ivory spacers surround a section of desert ironwood. Stabilized giraffe bone scales are completed by stabilized masur birch spacers on the sides of the handle. Finally the handle is completed with a carved fossil mammoth ivory pommel. Fileworked thin nickel silver spacers are used throughout.
The blade dramatic blade was forged from carbon steels by renowned Swedish bladesmith Vladic Danikuk. Explosion pattern bars for the spine and edge. The center core is a detailed and highly complex pattern that is sure the grab attention. The patterns are immediately captivating and the blade will have exceptional edge holding. Excellent fit and finish throughout and one of the most impressive works by Greger Forselius to date!
