Description: Raymond Richard's designs have a timeless grace about them that comes from a family heritage of knifemaking. The upswept blade on this hunter is hand forged from 1095 carbon steel and shows a differential temper. The result is a keen, long lasting edge with a soft, supportive spine. A distal taper assures that the weight is perfect.
The sculpted fittings are forged from wrought iron recovered from an 1850s era wagon wheel. It meets neatly up with the African blackwood spacer. The handle is formed from osage orange, with a nice bold figure.
An excellent hunter that will feel as comfortable out in the field as in a collection!
