Description: Bladesmith Michael Rader creates an exceptional Japanese influenced stick sword. The long, sleek blade was hand forged to shape from Michael's own Damascus steel. 15N20, 5160 and 8660 carbon steels are combined into a bold ladder pattern and show off excellent contrast. The handle and sheath are formed from snakewood with bubinga accents. Michael's experience as a woodworker is clearly visible in his precision fit and finish. A decorative mosaic pin finishes out the handle. A copper sub-guard is visible from the front of the handle and results in a very sturdy sword. An exceptional knife with great fit and finish.
