Description: Bill Ruple is one the masters of slip joint folders. This style of knife is an exceptional use piece but also feels at home in any collection. The simple mechanism allows the maker to create a very slim profile so as to easily be at hand when needed.
Double bolsters provide excellent durability, protecting the fossil mammoth ivory scales from impact. The double bolsters have been engraved by Joe Mason with grotesques and inlaid with 24k gold. Excellent detail and interest. The exhibition grade mammoth ivory scales are caramel toned with green veins. The backbar and spines have been fileworked in the vines and thorns pattern..
Excellent fit and finish throughout with nicely centered blades.
