Description: Award winning Swedish maker Henry Hildén created this exquisite sole authorship Nordic hunter. As you would expect, the fit and finish throughout is exceptional.
The blade was forged from carbon steels in a multi-bar mosaic Damascus. The edge is firecracker pattern and was forged from 15N20 and ck100 carbon steels for exceptional edge holding. The top bar was forged from pure iron and nickel along with 15N20. The blade has been heat colored with brilliant golds, purples and silvers coming through. On the right hand side, Henry sculpted the deep caramel toned mammoth ivory and inlaid an 18k gold leaf. The handle was formed from exhibition grade ironwood and shows off a tremendous grain pattern with warm hues. Spacers were created from silver and cream toned mammoth ivory. Exceptional!
