Description: Blade smith Don Bell makes a highly detailed gentleman's folder. The detailed Upswept Ladder pattern Damascus that forms the blade is high-contrast and attention-getting. By forging the Damascus from 15N20 and 1095 carbon steel, Don has assured that the blade will have excellent edge holding. The blade is easily opened using the fileworked thumb stud. The exhibition grade fossil mammoth ivory scales are a deep green with hints of blue and lines of burnt caramel. Ivory of this quality and coloration is very rare. The scales are dovetailed to the bolsters and are set on fully fileworked and heat blued 15N20 carbon steel liners. The Damascus backbar has also been fileworked inside and out, as have the screws used throughout. Excellent fit and finish with smooth action and a well centered blade.
