Description: Mastersmith Audra Draper did her training under Mastersmith Ed Fowler. This sheep horn hunter shows the influence of her teacher. It was created in 1998. It has been meticulously cared for and has never been used to cut -- it is in new condition.
The heat treatment follows the formulas developed by Ed Fowler and has been proven to create some of the sharpest and most long lasting edges found anywhere. Audra makers very few sheep horn knives and to find one is a pleasure. When wet, sheep horn does not become slippery, and it is amazingly durable. The spacer is created from desert ironwood, and this, along with the copper guard, brings warm tones to the knife. Excellent fit and finish throughout.
