Description: The temper line along the blade shows the soft back draw. This is the technique taught by the American Bladesmith Society that is used to make the extremely strong and durable knives used for the journeyman and mastersmith tests. By creating a very hard edge and a soft spine, this knife will stay sharp, but not be brittle. Extremely nice fit and finish. Great fit on the guard. The thin copper spacers are a nice touch.
