Description: The large Mako, is a spectacular knife in the hand. The chisel ground, double beveled clip is fully sharpened. It is a piece that you will want to have by your side. The deep blue ray skin and resin impregnated wrap gives an excellent grip in the hand. The hamon is the result of the traditional Japanese method of clay tempering which retains the resilience of the spine while hardening the edges for superior sharpness. The hamon lines on this piece are particularly impressive. Steve's knives are well tested in the field and are extremely well executed.
Only the first 25 knives of a design are numbered by Steve. This mako is numbered "0".
