Description: Bradford Knives are made in the Pacific Northwest in Renton, Washington. His background working in an aerospace machine shop is clearly evident in these high-performance knives.
The Bradford Guardian 3 series are small, easy to wear fixed blades that could easily replace or compliment a folding knife. With a 3.5 inch blade, these knives can tackle simple food preparation, outdoors tasks, or fulfill hunting and skinning requirements. They are also small enough to be easily concealed for a self-defense tool. Bradford knives are known for exceptional heat treatment on their blades and ruggedness that will have their knives passed down for generations.
The 3.5 inch blade is CPM-MagnaCut with a false edge grind. Bradford's CPM-MagnaCutHH marking designates that this knife is hardened to 63-64 Hrc instead of the standard 60-61 Hrc. CPM-MagnaCut is a premium stainless steel created by Crucible with the help of professional metallurgist Dr. Larrin Thomas. MagnaCut combines the high toughness of CPM-4V with the corrosion resistance of CPM-20CV. This creates a perfect blade steel option for knives that need high toughness and great edge retention while still being easy to maintain, making MagnaCut a great candidate for both folding knives and hard use fixed blades. The stonewashed finish helps hide scratches that appear during use.
Handle scales are G-wood, a stylish laminate made from thin sheets of stabilized wood alternating with layers of G10. When machined in a contour they produce a beautiful, durable, natural pattern that is extremely appealing and unique. The contoured grip features a micro-texture to offer a secure grip without being abrasive. A hole through the tang of the handle makes it easy to add a lanyard. The scales can be removed for detailed cleaning or if new scales are desired.
Each knife includes a premium leather sheath with belt loop and plastic blade insert, meant to be worn horizontal-style.
