The Bradford Knives Guardian4 is a heavy duty fixed blade built to withstand the toughest applications. It is a favorite among military and law enforcement – both on and off duty. Whether you’re looking for a knife to aid you while fishing, camping, providing first aid or just for protection, the Guardian 4 fits the bill. Bradford knives are known for exceptional heat treatment on their blades and ruggedness that will have their knives passed down for generations.
The 4.6 inch blade is CPM-MagnaCut (61-62Hrc) with a stonewashed finish and sabre grind. CPM-MagnaCut is a premium stainless steel created by Crucible with the help of professional metallurgist Dr. Larrin Thomas. MagnaCut combines the high toughness of CPM-4V with the corrosion resistance of CPM-20CV. This creates a perfect blade steel option for knives that need high toughness and great edge retention while still being easy to maintain, making MagnaCut a great candidate for both folding knives and hard use fixed blades. The stonewashed finish helps hide scratches that appear during use.
Handle scales are forest green G-wood, a stylish laminate made from thin sheets of stabilized wood alternating with layers of G10. When machined in a contour they produce a beautiful, durable, natural pattern that is extremely appealing and unique. The contoured grip features a micro-texture to offer a secure grip without being abrasive. A hole through the tang of the handle makes it easy to add a lanyard. The scales can be removed for detailed cleaning or if new scales are desired.
Each knife includes a premium leather sheath with belt loop and plastic blade insert, meant to be worn vertically.
