Description: Trevor Burger is a second-generation knifemaker following in the steps of his father, Fred Burger. He has an eye for detail. His knives have exceptionally smooth action and clean, no-nonsense designs. This custom EXK 30 Slipjoint offers the same minimalist design in a slipjoint mechanism instead of as a linerlock or framelock.
The blade is perfectly centered and has smooth, consistent action with a firm half stop. It is easily opened using the right-handed nail nick.
The blade is premium ELMAX stainless steel, created by Bohler in Austria. At 60 Hrc, ELMAX provides the extreme edge retention, high strength, and toughness a hard-use knife demands. High wear resistance in a steel usually means low corrosion resistance, but not with ELMAX. With this advanced steel, you get both properties, which makes it an excellent steel for daily carry folders. The blade is hollow ground for an easy to maintain edge.
Green Micarta handle scales are set on satin finished stainless steel liners. A satin finished stainless steel escutcheon is inlaid into the left side of the handle. A lanyard can be added to the rear of the handle to aid in pulling the knife from the bottom of your pocket.
Excellent work throughout!
