Description: Jason Clark is a part time, sole authorship knifemaker from O'Brien, Florida. Jason has been employed full time as a Florida Law Enforcement Officer since 1997 and knows what it takes to make a high functioning knife that is meant to be used. He even offers lifetime free sharpening for any knife he has made!
The blade is perfectly centered with smooth action. It uses the IKBS (Ikoma Korth Bearing System) pivot. This mechanism, which was originally designed to fit balisong knives, uses ball bearings to create exceptional action with no blade play.
The blade is hand ground CPM-Magnacut. CPM-MagnaCut is a new premium stainless steel created by Crucible with the help of professional metallurgist Dr. Larrin Thomas. Magnacut combines the high toughness of CPM-4V with the corrosion resistance of CPM-20CV. This creates a perfect blade steel for knives that need high toughness and great edge retention while still being easy to maintain. This makes MagnaCut a great candidate for both folding knives and hard use fixed blades. The blade is hollow ground for an easy to maintain edge. Jason's touchmark is on the left side of the blade.
Handle scales are shredded money Micarta. This unique Micarta is formed using the same technique that is used to create rag micarta, yet here shredded dollar bills were used instead. The scales are dovetailed to heat colored zirconium bolsters. Bead blasted titanium liners surround a free-floating titanium backbar. The blackened titanium pocket clip is mounted for right-side, tip-up carry.
A leather pocket slip made by Jason's wife is included.
Excellent work throughout!
