Description: Jason Clark is a part time, sole authorship knifemaker from O'Brien, Florida. Jason has been employed full time as a Florida Law Enforcement Officer since 1997 and knows what it takes to make a high functioning knife that is meant to be used. He even offers lifetime free sharpening for any knife he has made!
The high performance, hand ground CPM154 stainless steel. This US-made powdered metallurgical steel has a particularly small grain structure, making it take an extremely keen edge and hold it. A hand rubbed satin finish lends an heirloom quality.
The blade is perfectly centered with smooth action. It uses the IKBS (Ikoma Korth Bearing System) pivot. This mechanism, which was originally designed to fit balisong knives, uses ball bearings to create exceptional action with no blade play.
Scales are Techno carbon fiber. The scales are dovetailed to heat colored zirconium bolsters. Zirconium is a transitional metal that is primarily mined in South Africa and Australia. It is resistant to corrosion and scuffing. Stonewashed titanium liners surround a satin finished titanium. The 3D machined titanium pocket clip is mounted for right-side, tip-up carry.
Excellent work throughout!
