Description: Stephane Espi is a knifemaker from the South of France who has been making custom knives since 2009. He specializes in modern style folders with excellent fit and finish and impeccable action. It is rare to see his work in the United States and we are excited to be able to offer it at BladeGallery. Espi's knives are hand made in France without the use of CNC.
This Sina Front Flipper is a prime example of Stephane's clean work. The minimalistic design coupled with some of the best action you will ever feel makes for a great daily carry knife – though Espi’s work would also be a highlight of most any collection.
The clip point blade is Bohler N690 stainless steel. Bohler N690 ensures a keen, long lasting edge with good resistance to chipping. It is a great choice for high performance knives. The blade is hollow ground for an easy to maintain edge. The blade features textured flats and a hand rubbed satin finish in the grinds. The knife can be opened easily using the front flipper tab. The perfectly centered blade has smooth action thanks to the ball bearing pivot.
Handle scales are vintage Micarta from World War 2 set on bead blasted titanium liners. The liners surround a titanium backbar. The 3D machined titanium pocket clip is mounted for right-side, tip-up carry.
Excellent work throughout!
