Description: A strong distal taper and solid stainless steel bolsters give this hunter an excellent balance in the hand. By radiusing the bolsters, the handle feels very natural for a solid grip. Vine pattern filework, which follows from spine, through the exposed tang and around to the base of the knife, give an excellent purchase for the thumb. The S shaped bolsters are extremely difficult to execute and Nick has achieved this to perfection. Hollow ground for ease in sharpening, Paul Bos has heat treated the blade. Paul is generally considered the authority on hardening ATS-34 blades.
