Description: Enrique Pena from Laredo, Texas has been making fine custom knives since 2006. He builds high quality folders both modern and traditional, including flippers, slipjoints, and lockback folders. He learned to make traditional style knives from renowned knifemakers Bill Ruple and Rusty Preston. Enrique's knives are designed to be used and carried, but could easily be the gem of any collection!
The Cabarello Front Flipper is a compact folder perfect for daily carry. The hand rubbed satin finished blade is premium CPM-154 stainless steel. This powdered metallurgical steel has a particularly small grain structure, making it take an extremely keen edge and hold it while remaining tough and chip resistant.
The blade is perfectly centered with silky-smooth drop shut action thanks to the caged bearing system. The discreet ambidextrous front flipper tab can be used to easily deploy the blade with one hand.
Handle scales are paper Micarta, fit perfectly to the bead blasted integral titanium bolsters and liners. Barrel spacers keep the knife light, yet strong and make it easy to clean. A pin in the back of the knife allows a lanyard to be added if desired. The Timascus titanium damascus pocket clip is mounted for right-side, tip-up carry.
Excellent work throughout!
