Description: California red abalone is also called "Dragon's Eye", giving this short sword its name. The Heather Shoebotham Harvey Damascus blade is well etched and eye-catching, even at a distance. The stacked nickel silver spacers feature Billy's signature filework, which allows additional light play on the mirror polished surface. The paua shell pieces that make up the mosaic handle are chosen for their color and pattern. They are fit together and finished so that the mosaic is purely a texture for the eye, not for the hand.
