Description: Aaron Wilburn became a journeyman smith in June of 2009 and a master smith in 2013. Aaron creates serious knives for some of the most avid collectors and outdoorsman. The Honey Badger was designed to be a daily carry bird and trout/utility knife. Small, but ferocious and always at the ready.
The 52100 carbon steel blade was triple tempered and cryogenically treated for a durable, keen edge. Many knife enthusiasts and knife makers feel that 52100 is the best steel available anywhere for use as a knife blade. Phosphate Parkerizing followed by Cerakote adds a non-reflective rust resistance and reduces drag while cutting.
The integral handle is skeletonized to greatly reduce weight to less than 2 ounces. A lanyard can be added to the rear of the handle for extra retention. This also allows the knife to be easily paracord wrapped if desired.
To keep the knife close at hand, a Kydex sheath with a removable belt clip is included.
Excellent work throughout!
