Description: This custom knife was made by Steven Busch. It is signed "S Busch" and dated "04/02" inside the handle on the backspacer. This knife has been in a private collection and is in excellent condition. It does not appear to have ever been used, carried or resharpened. There appears to be some very light wear (lightening of the heat coloring) on the bolsters, though even they are in excellent condition. The heat colored liners also show slight lightening in the heat coloring.
The blade and bolsters are heat colored mosaic damascus, forged from carbon steels by Robert Eggerling. The blade is well centered. The spine is hand fileworked.
Handle scales are premium mammoth ivory. Blue/green tones in the ancient ivory develop as minerals move into the ivory across thousands of years. The scales are well fit to the bolsters. Heat colored liners surround a hand fileworked backbar.
The knife is accompanied by a leather slip case.
