Description: Arno Bernard Sr. is a maker from South Africa and has been making knives for over 35 years. He has been a member of the Knifemakers Guild of Southern Africa (KGSA) for over 20 years. Living in South Africa has allowed him the luxury of using many different exotic handle materials -- some even collected himself.
This drop point utility is hand ground Bohler N690 stainless steel. N690 takes an incredibly sharp edge and holds onto it. Increased toughness gives it better resistance to edge chipping. The blade is hollow ground for an easy to maintain edge. The blade is polished in the flats and satin finished in the grinds.
Dyed and stabilized giraffe bone scales are set on the full tang for strength and durability. The scales are contoured by hand and fill your hand for a comfortable grip. From caping and skinning, to cooking around the campsite, this knife has you covered as a perfect everyday carry!
To keep the knife close at hand, a pouch style leather sheath is included.
Excellent work throughout!
