Description: Arno Bernard Sr. is a maker from South Africa and has been making knives for over 35 years. He has been a member of the Knifemakers Guild of Southern Africa (KGSA) for over 20 years. Living in South Africa has allowed him the luxury of using many different exotic handle materials -- some even collected himself.
This drop point hunter blade is Bohler N690 stainless steel and has a satin finish. N690 takes an incredibly sharp edge and holds onto it. Increased toughness gives it better resistance to edge chipping. The blade has been hollow ground to a high performance edge. The spine has been softened for a secure, comfortable grip.
Giraffe bone handle scales are set to the full tang using stainless steel pins. The lightly contoured scales fill out the hand and provide a comfortable grip.
This sturdy knife is comfortable to hold and has excellent balance. From skinning, to field processing, to cooking around the campsite, this knife has you covered!
A pouch style leather sheath is included to keep the knife close at hand.
Excellent work throughout!
