Description: Mastersmith David Lisch is well known for his bowies and kitchen knives, but before all that he was a blacksmith. This Mosaic Damascus Singing Crusader Hunter show's David's skill at the forge -- a skillset earned working countless thousands of hours working at the forge. David brings a skill level forging that few bladesmiths possess.
David created this hunter from his own mosaic explosion damascus, combining 1080 and 15n20 carbon steels to ensure a long lasting edge with plenty of toughness. The high contrast damascus is sure to pull attention for closer examination. David's mark is on the spine of the knife.
The hand forged handle is mild steel, ending in a crusader cross forged into the butt cap. The handle has a nice heft to it and is very comfortable to hold. A ball bearing moves inside the handle, creating a musical ring. Because this knife is forged from carbon steels, we recommend using camellia oil to oil the blade and handle.
Excellent work throughout!
