Description: I was excited when Mastersmith David Lisch introduced me to Mike Clark Jr back in 2018. Since then, his work has continued to show his tremendous attention to detail. Given the level of work, it is no surprise that Mike easily passed his JS Test at the 2019 Blade Show in Atlanta, GA.
The hand forged blade features a classic trailing point. High performing 1084 carbon steel ensures a keen, long lasting edge. It features an heirloom quality hand rubbed satin finish.
The handle is presentation grade desert ironwood burl (Olneya tesota). Ironwood is a rare wood that is only found in the valleys of the Sonoran Desert below 2,500 foot elevation. It is among the most desirable of exotic woods used for knives.
This knife is accompanied by a custom hand stitched leather sheath.
Exceptional work throughout!
