Description: I have long been in awe of French knifemaker Charlie Bennica's work. His fit and finish are exceptional and are met by very few makers. His sense of style and innovation are similarly unique. With a mechanism such as the pommel lock on this folder, it is no surprise that he has won multiple acolades over the years. This exceptional folder has been in a private collection. It has been meticulously cared for and is in new condition. By all appearances, it could have been made yesterday.
The RWL-34 PM stainless steel blade was hand ground for a high performance, long lasting edge. A boot grind, ensures a detail-oriented tip. The nail nick is particularly effective and easy to use. The action on this folder is exceptional, and the blade is perfectly centered.
The 416 stainless steel frame is meticulously mirror polished. Both sides are inlaid with antique shell. The inlay is flawless. The rounded handle feels excellent in the palm of the hand and is hard to put down.
Simply as good as it gets!
