Description: Swedish knifemaker Greger Forselius has a flair for design. This Swedish Long Hunter shows his work at its best!
The 6-1/4" blade was hand forged by Konstantin Lysenko in Donetsk, Ukraine. Lysenko combined three separate bars of damascus into this exceptional large blade. A stunning central bar is made from mosaic damascus and surrounded by a firecracker pattern at the cutting edge and spine. The result is a captivating blade that will have you staring for hours. A recurve cutting edge increases cutting ability and will help with chopping and slicing tasks.
The handle is made from exhibition grade Arizona desert ironwood (Olneya tesota). This warm toned wood has a nice mix of medium and dark tones. A large section of woolly mammoth ivory complements the ironwood nicely. The right side is scrimshawed with a floral scroll.
To keep the knife close at hand, a traditional Swedish single seamed leather sheath is included.
Excellent work throughout!
