Description: This is an exquisite slip joint folder by Mastersmith Aaron Wilburn.
The spear point blade is formed from 52100 carbon steel. This carbon steel is among the best steels currently used by knifemakers. It provides uncompromising edge holding. The blade is satin finished. A long thumb nick makes it easy to open and close. The hollow ground blade will be easy to sharpen.
416 stainless steel front and rear bolsters meet perfectly and surround stag scales. The front bolster is fluted. Hand domed pins secure the scales to 410 stainless steel liners. The back spring is made from CPM154 stainless steel.
Nice work throughout!
