Description: Brian Tighe creates unique, functional and visually appealing knives of the highest quality. His blades are the product of 25 years of experience in metallurgy artistry and tactical expertise. His new integral Tighe Down model has incredible details that demand your attention.
This Tighe Down Flipper features a blade made from high performing D2 semi-stainless steel. D2 has incredible toughness and chip resistance while maintaining good corrosion resistance. It features a hand rubbed satin finish. Tighe's unique compound nightmare ground blade can be easily deployed using the ambidextrous flipper or the thumbstuds. A button lock makes closing the blade with one hand a breeze!
The fully integral handle is machined from one solid piece of FatCarbon lavaflow carbon fiber. This dramatic composite material creates a damascene pattern using thin layers of ceramic and carbon fiber. The unique carbon fiber produces a beautiful chatoyancy that reflects light exceptionally. The integral handle keeps the knife light and fast. The titanium pocket clip with ceramic retention ball is mounted for right-handed, tip-up carry.
Excellent work throughout!
