André deVilliers is a knifemaker who is going to go places. His distinctive knives are innovative, dependable and beautiful.

Self taught, André started making knives while at school. A need for a hunting knife snowballed into a career after his father wanted one too. Now he makes all kinds of knives, ranging from folders to fixed blades, to swords. His specialty, however, is artistic folding knives. He has been a full time maker since 1990.

André feels sure of the quality of his knives, and so guarantees all his work:

"I guarantee each knife I make against defects in workmanship and material as long as I am able to work. My knives are meant to be used as a cutting tool, not as a pry bar, screwdriver, or axe. Obvious abuse will void this guarantee. Since climate changes and time can cause cracking, checking, and shrinking, this guarantee does not include natural handle materials."
