Description: This exceptional puukko is the work of Jeremy Spake of Portland, Oregon. Jeremy has been making knives since 2010. His work is heavily influenced by Scandinavian knives. This Puukko is in Finish style.
Jeremy hand forged the blade from 52100 carbon steel. Many knife makers and knife users include 52100 carbon steel among their favorite steels. 52100 takes on a superior cutting edge that just won't quit. A hand rubbed satin finish lends an heirloom quality.
The handle is formed from layers of stacked birch bark. It is nicely rounded and swells to fill the palm. 410 stainless steel front and rear bolsters surround the stacked wood.
The knife is accompanied by a traditional Finnish hard leather sheath with a wood liner. Exceptional work throughout!
