Description: The Tempest is a superbly designed flipper from the talented and innovative Liong Mah. With its super-swift, smooth action, this is a flipper you won't be able to put down. The Tempest is manufactured by Reate in China and meets all the rigorous quality specifications Liong sets for all of his knives. David Deng, owner and chief operator of Reate Knives, is quickly gaining recognition for producing amazing quality pieces for some of the industry's best knifemakers, including the Kwaiken by Todd Begg.
The Tempest has a large profile and well defined lines, making all the features really stand out. It features a 3-3/4" S35VN stainless steel blade with beautiful grind lines. The blade has a stonewash finish with satin finished flats. The deep belly on the blade makes it great for slicing and the tip is ground for devastating penetration.
The titanium handles fit the hand like a glove and are comfortable no matter what size hands you have. The slight downward curve of the handle fills your hand perfectly, locking it into place. The sculpted titanium pocket clip is mounted for right-hand, tip-up carry. The frame lock is sturdy, engages smoothly, and has a replaceable steel lockbar insert. Blue anodized hardware provides just the right flash.
This is another fantastic design by Liong Mah that leaves nothing wanting. The Tempest comes with a Liong Mah Designs zipper pouch.
