Description: This upswept hunter by Raymond Richard has an ageless sense of grace that is rarely found in knives by other makers. The saw steel used for the blade was recovered from a lumber mill. This type of steel was developed to withstand the heavy stresses of lumber mills. Raymond has antiqued the surface to give it an aged look.
The wrought iron fittings match well with the antiqued saw steel. Ray has textured and antiqued the furniture to accentuate its timeless appearance. An antiqued deer shin bone provides a sure grip, with the 'knuckle' providing a 'crown'. The handle is finished off with a wrought iron pin and loop.
Excellent fit and finish throughout.
